It's a cicada larvae(??) carcass thing! 
This morning, we go outside and there's this cicada. It's cocoon was forcefully opened by a ton of small ants. They had the weakened cicada out on the stairs and were eating it ALIVE. So, you'd see these ants running around and eating the cicada would twitch its lefs and be immobil.
It was actually really cool. <3
My dad said, 'Looks like he went down and into his cocoon where these ants came and attacked him.'
What do you people think?

I hate ants. XU They're vicious little bastards.
Although. However cruel this is it's still pretty cool how all those tiny ants work together so well. And because cicadas are also quite annoying.
